Compatible marine radio adapter

The ABLEGRID AC/DC adapter powers Uniden MHS126 and MHS235 VHF marine radios through their charging cradles. It accepts worldwide mains input from 100 to 240 volts at 50 to 60 hertz. The unit delivers DC output via a barrel tip connector. CE, FCC and RoHS certifications are listed for the adapter.

Build integration and space saved

This adapter replaces the original mains lead for the radio cradle, freeing the cradle from a proprietary wall wart. Over-voltage and over-heat protection circuits guard the radio during extended charging sessions. A single cable runs from the outlet to the cradle, reducing clutter on a boat console or bench. Verify the barrel tip dimensions match the cradle before connecting.

Upgrade context and limits

The adapter serves as a non-OEM replacement when the factory supply is lost or damaged. It does not add fast-charge capability or change the radio’s charge rate. Buyers needing multi-bay charging or a different voltage must seek another solution. The 831% compatibility claim refers to fit with the two listed models only.

Questions about this item

Will the barrel tip on this adapter fit the charging cradle on my Uniden MHS126 or MHS235 radio?

The adapter uses a barrel tip connector; you must verify the tip size and DC output match your cradle before ordering.

Does the adapter run hot or need extra cooling when powering the radio cradle all day?

It includes over-heat protection; keep the unit in a ventilated area and do not place it on soft surfaces during extended use.

What AC supply do I already need at the installation site for this charger to work?

The adapter accepts AC 100-240 V at 50-60 Hz, so any standard mains outlet worldwide will power it.
