Replacement AC Power Cord for Sony Bravia

This ABLEGRID AC power cord replaces the original cable for Sony Bravia models KDL-32XBR6, KDL-32XBR9, KDL-37XBR6 and KDL-40EX400. It is a brand new, non-OEM compatible lead designed to restore mains power to these specific televisions. The cord arrives in black with a standard connector profile shown in the product images.

Continuous Power Delivery Under Load

The cable supplies uninterrupted AC current to the television during extended viewing sessions. Its construction maintains a stable connection without overheating at the plug or along the 6.6ft length. The 100% new materials ensure consistent conductivity for the duration of the unit's service life.

Upgrade From Damaged or Missing Original Lead

This cord replaces a frayed, lost or faulty factory power cable. The jump is worth it when the existing lead shows exposed wiring, intermittent contact or fails to seat securely in the TV inlet. It is not for buyers who need a longer run than 6.6ft or a right-angled plug for tight wall clearances.

Questions about this item

Does the 6.6 ft cable generate noticeable heat when the TV runs all day?

The cord is a passive power lead with no active components, so it does not produce measurable heat during continuous use.

What must I already own for this lead to work with my Sony Bravia?

You need a compatible Sony Bravia model such as the KDL-32XBR6, KDL-32XBR9, KDL-37XBR6 or KDL-40EX400 and a standard mains socket.

Will the connector fit older Sony Bravia sets that use the same figure-8 inlet?

The plug matches the inlet shown in the product images for the listed 32, 37 and 40 inch models, so older sets with that identical inlet will accept it.
