Compatible Atari Power Adapter

This ABLEGRID AC DC adapter replaces the original power supply for Atari 2600, XEP 80, SX212 and CX-2600 systems. It delivers DC output through a barrel tip connector and is built as a non-OEM spare part. The unit carries CE, FCC and RoHS certifications for electrical safety.

Worldwide AC Input Limits

The charger accepts AC 100-240V at 50-60Hz, making it suitable for mains supplies in different regions without a voltage selector. Output is DC only, so polarity and voltage must match the console's requirements exactly. Over-voltage and over-heat protection circuits are integrated to guard against mains irregularities.

Barrel Connector Fit and Ventilation

A barrel tip connector mates with the Atari power port; the tip size must be verified against the original adapter before use. The enclosure is designed for passive cooling, so it should be kept in a ventilated area and not placed on soft or insulated surfaces during extended operation. The package includes one new AC DC adapter power charger.

Questions about this item

Which ABLEGRID charger version matches my ATARI 2600 XEP 80 SX212 CX-2600?

This model is built for the ATARI PART CO 16353-101 and WBS 8943 adapters used with the 2600 XEP 80 SX212 CX-2600, so it replaces the original DC9V supply directly.

What does the DC 9V output actually deliver to the console?

It supplies a regulated 9 V DC rail from the switching circuit, powering the Atari 2600 system and the XEP 80 peripheral without the original brick.

What input standard does the barrel-tip connector follow?

The adapter accepts 100-240 V AC at 50-60 Hz worldwide and terminates in a barrel tip sized for the Atari DC9V jack.
