What this charger powers

The ABLEGRID HY-A02 is a 42 V AC/DC adapter built for electric self-balancing scooters and hover boards that use a round barrel tip. It replaces the original power supply with a non-OEM unit that carries CE, FCC and RoHS certification. Buyers who need a different connector type or a higher voltage output should look elsewhere.

Verify your device before ordering

Confirm that your scooter or hover board requires a 42 V DC input and uses a round barrel connector rather than a three-pin plug. The adapter accepts AC 100-240 V at 50-60 Hz for worldwide use. Mismatched voltage or tip size will prevent charging and may damage the battery system.

Heat protection and everyday use

Over-voltage and over-heat protection circuits shut the unit down if abnormal conditions appear. Keep the adapter in a ventilated area away from soft surfaces during extended charging sessions. The package includes the charger and a detachable AC power cable.
