9V AC adapter for portable speaker

This 9V AC adapter supplies mains power to the QFX PBX-65 6.5 inch portable party mini speaker. It accepts a worldwide input range of 100 to 240 volts at 50 to 60 hertz. The unit delivers DC output through a 6.5 millimetre barrel connector. Over-voltage and over-heat protection are built in.

Users needing a replacement mains supply

The charger suits owners of the QFX PBX-65 speaker who have lost or damaged the original power supply. It is not for devices that require a different output voltage or a different barrel tip size. Buyers who need a battery pack for portable use should look at a power bank instead.

6.5 mm barrel tip size

The critical specification is the 6.5 millimetre barrel connector that mates with the speaker's DC input jack. Verify that the original adapter lists the same tip dimensions and polarity before ordering. A mismatched tip will prevent the speaker from receiving power.
