System Overview

The ABS ALA276 is a refurbished mid-tower gaming desktop built around an Intel Core i9-12900KS processor with 16 cores and 24 threads. It pairs that CPU with an ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 3080 10 GB graphics card and 32 GB of Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB DDR5 5200 MHz memory. A 1 TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD and Windows 11 Home complete the core specification.

Target Buyer

This system suits gamers and creators who want a high-clock 12th-generation Intel flagship and a 10 GB RTX 3080 in a pre-built chassis with liquid CPU cooling and an 850 W Gold power supply. Buyers who need more than 1 TB of fast storage or who require a newer GPU architecture should look at other configurations.

Deciding Spec

The graphics card is an ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 3080 with 10 GB of GDDR6X memory; confirm that this VRAM amount and GPU tier match the resolution and texture quality targets of your intended workload.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the i9-12900KS is hitting its 5.5 GHz turbo on all 24 threads after setup?

Open Task Manager or HWMonitor and watch the core clocks under a heavy multi-thread load such as Cinebench; sustained speeds near 5.5 GHz across the 16 cores confirm the Corsair H115i Elite Capellix cooler is handling the heat.

What ships inside the Asus TUF Gaming GT501 case and what must I add myself?

The box contains the complete system: i9-12900KS, Asus TUF RTX 3080 10 GB, 32 GB Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR5 5200 MHz, 1 TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD, Corsair RM850x 850 W Gold PSU, H115i Elite Capellix cooler, three 120 mm RGB fans, one 140 mm PWM fan, and Windows 11 Home. Only a monitor, keyboard and mouse are needed separately.

Which memory kit should I pick if I want to expand the 32 GB DDR5 5200 MHz configuration later?

The Z690 board has four slots with two free; add a matched 2 x 16 GB DDR5 5200 MHz kit (same speed and voltage) to reach 64 GB, or fill all four slots with identical modules for the 128 GB maximum supported.
