Refurbished Gladiator gaming desktop

This ABS Gladiator ALI335 is a refurbished mid-tower gaming PC built around an Intel Core i9-9900K eight-core processor running at 3.60 GHz. It ships with 16 GB of DDR4 memory at 3200 MHz and a 1 TB SSD for the operating system and games. The graphics card is an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER with 8 GB of GDDR6 memory, and the system includes a 240 mm liquid cooler and a 650 W power supply.

Suits 1080p and 1440p players.

The eight-core CPU and RTX 2080 SUPER combination handles modern titles at high settings on 1080p and 1440p monitors. The 16 GB DDR4 kit is adequate for current games but leaves no headroom for streaming, video editing or running multiple heavy applications at once. Buyers who want 4K ultra performance or need 32 GB of memory for content creation should look at a different system.

RTX 2080 SUPER 8 GB GDDR6 decides fit

The graphics card provides 8 GB of GDDR6 video memory and determines whether this desktop matches your target resolution and refresh rate. If your monitor is 1080p high-refresh or 1440p the card is well matched; if you plan to game at 4K or need more VRAM for texture-heavy workloads the 8 GB frame buffer will be the limiting factor.

Questions about this item

Will the 650W power supply handle the i9-9900K and RTX 2080 SUPER under sustained load?

The 650W unit powers the 8-core 9900K and 8 GB GDDR6 card together; the 240 mm liquid cooler keeps CPU thermals in check during long sessions.

How loud does the DEEPCOOL MATREXX 50 case get when all four 120 mm ADD-RGB fans and the liquid cooler run all day?

Four 120 mm ADD-RGB fans plus the 240 mm liquid cooler move air through the tempered-glass panels; noise stays at a moderate hum under full load.

Does the Z390 motherboard need any extra cables or adapters for the 1 TB SSD and 16 GB DDR4 3200 MHz kit to work?

The SSD and 16 GB DDR4 3200 MHz memory install directly on the Z390 board; Windows 10 Home 64-bit is pre-loaded so the system boots straight to desktop.
