Buyers needing Windows 11 or more GPU memory

The PC ships with Windows 10 Home 64-bit, so anyone requiring Windows 11 Pro out of the box should look elsewhere. The GeForce RTX 3080 provides 10 GB of GDDR6X video memory, which may limit users working with very large textures or high-resolution rendering pipelines. Builders who need additional drive bays or a larger power headroom for future upgrades should also consider other platforms.

10 GB RTX 3080 graphics card

The single specification that decides fit is the GeForce RTX 3080 with 10 GB GDDR6X. That frame-buffer size determines whether the system can hold the assets for your target resolution and texture quality. If your workflow or preferred titles demand more video memory, this configuration will not meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the i7-12700F is boosting to its 4.9 GHz turbo after setup?

Open Task Manager's Performance tab and watch the CPU clock speed under load; it should reach 4.9 GHz on the performance cores.

What comes in the box with the ALI642 and what must I buy separately?

The system includes the Rosewill SPECTRA D100 case, 800W 80 Plus Gold PSU, RGB CPU tower cooler, 16GB DDR4 3200 RAM, 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD, RTX 3080 10GB GPU, and Windows 10 Home. You need a monitor, keyboard, and mouse.

Should I choose the 16GB DDR4 3200 configuration or add more memory?

The 2x8GB kit fills two slots; 16GB handles current games well. Add another 2x8GB DDR4 3200 kit later if you run heavy multitasking or content creation workloads.
