ABS rack server EPYC 9755 128 core 2.7GHz 512MB cache 32GB DDR5 6400MT/s ECC registered DIMM

Rack server with 128-core EPYC processor

The ABS rack server is built around a single AMD EPYC 9755 CPU with 128 cores running at 2.7 GHz and 512 MB cache. It targets organisations that need maximum thread density for virtualisation, high-performance computing or large-scale database workloads in a standard rack footprint. Buyers who need GPU acceleration or multi-socket scaling will not find those capabilities here.

Sustained load behaviour with 32 GB DDR5 ECC memory

The system includes four Kingston 32 GB DDR5 6400 MT/s ECC registered DIMMs for a total of 32 GB capacity with error correction. A factory assembly and burn test validates stability under continuous operation before shipment. Workloads that demand more memory bandwidth or capacity per socket will hit the installed limit quickly.

Thermal and power profile of a 500 W CPU

The EPYC 9755 processor carries a 500 W thermal design power that the barebone chassis must dissipate in a rack environment. An Intel X710-T4L 10 Gigabit Ethernet card provides high-throughput networking without adding significant heat. Deployments without adequate rack airflow or power budget for a 500 W socket should look elsewhere.
