System purpose

The ABS Stratos II Ruby is a prebuilt gaming desktop built around an AMD Ryzen 7 9700X 8-core processor and a GIGABYTE Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB graphics card. It ships with 32GB of G.SKILL DDR5-6000 memory in dual-channel configuration and a 1TB Kingston NVMe SSD. Windows 11 Home is installed and the system is validated for VR and AI workloads.

Setup requirements

The motherboard is a GIGABYTE B850M C with multiple M.2 slots and Wi-Fi 7 plus Bluetooth 5.4 built in. Network connectivity includes 2.5G Ethernet. The 850W 80 PLUS Gold power supply uses standard ATX cabling. The CPU cooler is a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Spectrum V3 air tower mounted inside the ABS Stratos II MX220 chassis. Verify that your display cables match the GPU outputs and that your desk space accommodates a mid-tower case.

Sustained load behaviour

Under extended gaming or compute sessions the 850W Gold-rated PSU delivers stable power to the 8-core Zen 5 CPU and the 16GB GPU. The Hyper 212 air cooler manages CPU thermals while case airflow moves heat from the graphics card. DDR5-6000 memory maintains bandwidth without throttling and the PCIe 4.0 NVMe drive sustains read speeds for asset streaming. Wi-Fi 7 and 2.5G Ethernet keep network latency low during long multiplayer matches.

Questions about this item

Does the ABS Stratos II Ruby SII9700X9070XT include Windows 11 Home and a keyboard and mouse, or do I need to buy them separately?

The system ships with Windows 11 Home pre-installed. A keyboard and mouse are not included and must be purchased separately.

Should I choose the 32 GB DDR5-6000 kit or look for a larger capacity for the Ryzen 7 9700X?

The G.SKILL Ripjaws M5 Neo RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 kit fills both DIMM slots for dual-channel performance; adding more memory later would require replacing the existing modules.

What does the Radeon RX 9070 XT 16 GB mean for 1440p gaming frame rates?

The 16 GB graphics card paired with the 8-core Ryzen 7 9700X and fast DDR5-6000 memory delivers high frame rates at 1440p in modern titles.
