Refurbished Gaming Desktop

This ABS Tempest Aqua system arrives as a refurbished gaming desktop with Windows 11 Home installed. The Intel Core i7-14700KF processor delivers 20 cores and 28 threads at a 3.40 GHz base clock. An NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Super graphics card with 16 GB GDDR6X memory handles rendering. It targets players who want a complete, ready-to-play rig.

Build Integration Requirements

The MSI B760-VC motherboard uses the Intel B760 chipset and supports DDR5 memory at 6000 MHz. Two 16 GB TeamGroup Delta RGB modules occupy the provided slots. A Kingston 1 TB M.2 NVMe SSD provides the primary storage volume. An ABS 850W 80+ Gold power supply feeds all components. The Thermaltake 240 mm RGB AIO liquid cooler mounts to the CPU. Wireless connectivity uses Wi-Fi 5.

Sustained Load Behaviour

The 240 mm liquid cooler moves heat away from the 20-core processor during extended sessions. The 850W Gold-rated supply maintains stable delivery while the GPU draws power for 4080-class workloads. Case airflow inside the Tempest V350 chassis assists component temperatures over long periods. Buyers who need more than 1 TB of fast storage or a second graphics card should consider other configurations.

Cooling methodCPU Cooler: Thermaltake 240MM RGB AIO Liquid Cooler

Questions about this item

How does the Thermaltake 240MM RGB AIO liquid cooler handle the i7-14700KF under sustained all-core loads?

The 240 mm AIO targets the 20-core CPU's heat output, but prolonged heavy workloads may push coolant temperatures high enough to trigger thermal throttling before the radiator can reject all heat.

What noise and heat levels should I expect from the ABS 850W 80+ Gold PSU and GPU fans during all-day gaming?

The 850W Gold unit runs efficiently, yet the RTX 4080 Super's 16 GB GDDR6X and the CPU's 28 threads can drive both GPU and case fans to audible speeds under continuous load.

Which display cables and monitor inputs are required to run the RTX 4080 Super at its full capability?

You need a monitor with HDMI 2.1 or DisplayPort 1.4a inputs and matching certified cables to unlock 4K high-refresh output from the graphics card.
