Core specifications

This refurbished ABS Tempest Aqua gaming desktop pairs an Intel Core i9-14900KF 24-core processor with an MSI GeForce RTX 4090 24GB Gaming X Trio graphics card. The system ships with 32GB of TeamGroup Delta RGB DDR5 6000MHz memory in a dual-channel kit and a Kingston 2TB NVMe SSD. Windows 11 Home 64-bit is pre-installed on the Gigabyte Z790 UD-AC motherboard.

Build integration

The ABS Cyclops 1000W Gold ATX 3.0 power supply delivers certified headroom for the CPU and GPU combination, while the EKWB 360MM liquid cooler handles processor thermals inside the ABS Tempest 300 Obsidian Black case. The Z790 chipset provides expansion lanes for additional storage or peripherals, and the dual-channel memory configuration leaves two DIMM slots open for future capacity increases.

Bundled ecosystem

DLSS 3.5 support on the RTX 4090 enables AI-powered frame generation and ray reconstruction in compatible titles, directly affecting achievable frame rates at 4K resolution. TeamGroup Delta RGB modules add addressable lighting controllable through motherboard software, and the pre-loaded Windows 11 Home environment activates immediately without separate licensing steps. The 2TB NVMe drive offers the primary volume for OS and game libraries.

Questions about this item

Will the EKWB 360MM liquid cooler keep the i9-14900KF from throttling during long renders?

The 360 mm radiator and pump are sized for the 24-core CPU, so sustained loads stay within thermal limits without hitting the throttle point.

How loud is the ABS Cyclops 1000W Gold PSU and GPU fans when the system runs all day?

The Gold-rated PSU fan stays near idle until high wattage draws, while the RTX 4090 Gaming X Trio triple-fan curve keeps noise low at typical gaming temperatures.

Does the Gigabyte Z790 UD-AC motherboard need any extra parts before the DDR5 6000 MHz kit will boot?

No, the 2×16 GB TeamGroup Delta RGB kit is installed and validated on the Z790 board, so the PC posts straight to Windows 11 Home.
