Kit contents and target users

This bundle pairs a Quest Q2 smart charger with eight Accupower AA NiMH cells rated at 2900 mAh each. It suits households, photographers and gamers who want a ready-to-use rechargeable solution for everyday devices.

Build integration and flexibility

The charger accepts one to four AA or AAA cells in four independent slots, so you can top up mixed sizes or capacities in a single session. It plugs directly into a 120 V, 60 Hz mains outlet and draws 9.7 W, leaving no need for an external power brick or USB port.

Thermals, noise and power draw

The unit runs silently with no fan, relying on passive cooling during the 4 to 5 hour charge cycle for 2000 to 2900 mAh AA cells. Microprocessor control switches to a low-current trickle once cells are full, keeping standby draw minimal and preventing overcharge heat build-up.
