Accupower AccuLoop 9V NiMH 220 mAh 12-pack

Pack contents and purpose

This pack contains twelve 9-volt NiMH rechargeable cells rated at 220 mAh. They are built for devices that require a 9-volt format such as smoke detectors, wireless microphones and test instruments. The low-discharge chemistry suits equipment that sits idle for long periods but must work instantly when needed. Buyers who need higher capacity for heavy-drain applications will not find it here.

Build and daily handling

Each cell delivers a nominal 8.4 volts and arrives pre-charged, ready for immediate use. The low self-discharge design retains about 85 percent of its charge after one year in storage, reducing the need for frequent top-ups. With no memory effect, the batteries can be recharged at any state without capacity penalty. They fit any product that accepts a standard 9-volt battery, making replacement straightforward.

Cycle life and practical limits

The manufacturer rates the cells for up to 1000 recharge cycles under normal conditions. Actual cycle count varies with charge current, depth of discharge and operating temperature. The 220 mAh capacity limits runtime in high-drain devices compared with alkaline or lithium primaries. Users should verify that their charger supports NiMH 9-volt cells before purchasing.
