Smart charger and AA NiMH set

The Powerex MH-C204FA smart charger handles two or four AA or AAA NiMH and NiCD cells. It operates on 100-240 VAC at 50-60 Hz and delivers a 12 V, 0.5 A output. Precision charging stops before cells are overcharged. Four AccuPower AccuLoop-X AA batteries rated at 2600 mAh are included.

100-240 VAC universal input

The charger accepts any mains voltage from 100 to 240 volts without a separate adapter. Its 0.3 A draw at 50-60 Hz keeps standby consumption low. Maximum output power is 6.0 W. This single specification decides whether the unit suits the buyer's local supply.

Ideal for households replacing alkaline AA cells

Users who want pre-charged, low-self-discharge batteries that hold 85 % capacity after a year will benefit. Each cell manages up to 1000 recharge cycles and fits any device taking standard AA batteries. Buyers needing AAA cells or higher-capacity packs should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What does the 2600 mAh rating mean for runtime in a typical device?

The 2600 mAh capacity indicates how much charge each AA battery holds; actual runtime depends on the device's current draw.

What does the 100-240V input and 12V 0.5A output mean for charging speed?

The charger accepts global mains voltage and delivers up to 0.5 A at 12 V, so two or four cells charge at the rate the charger's smart circuitry determines.

What physical size do the included cells and charger bays require?

Four AA-size AccuLoop-X cells are supplied; the charger accepts AA or AAA NiMH and NiCD cells in its two or four slots.
