Complete NiMH battery kit

This pack contains forty AccuPower nickel-metal hydride cells across four common sizes: sixteen AA cells at 2900 mAh, sixteen AAA cells at 1200 mAh, four C cells at 6000 mAh and four D cells at 12000 mAh. Every cell delivers a nominal 1.2 volts and is rated for up to 1000 recharge cycles with no memory effect.

Households and devices needing mixed sizes

The assortment suits homes, workshops or kits that regularly use AA, AAA, C and D devices such as remotes, torches, toys, clocks and portable radios. Buyers who only need a single size or who require lithium chemistries for high-drain electronics should look at dedicated packs instead.

Capacity per cell by size

AA cells provide 2900 mAh, AAA cells provide 1200 mAh, C cells provide 6000 mAh and D cells provide 12000 mAh, all at 1.2 volts NiMH chemistry. Matching the device's required capacity and physical size is the single specification that decides whether this kit is the right choice.

Questions about this item

Do the 1.2 V NiMH cells stay cool when a high-drain device draws current for hours?

NiMH chemistry at 1.2 V runs with low internal resistance, so the cells generate minimal heat even during extended high-drain use.

What charger do I need to recharge all four sizes in this pack?

Any smart NiMH charger with independent bays that accepts AA, AAA, C and D cells will charge the 16 AA, 16 AAA, 4 C and 4 D batteries up to their rated 1000 cycles.

Will the 1.2 V output work reliably in gear designed for 1.5 V alkaline C and D cells?

Most devices tolerate the 1.2 V nominal voltage; the 6000 mAh C and 12000 mAh D cells deliver longer run-time per charge than alkaline equivalents.
