Delicate Surface Painters Tape

This tape is designed for surfaces that need extra care such as wood floors, wallpaper, cabinets and freshly painted walls. It suits decorators and DIYers who want clean lines on sensitive finishes without damage. It is not for buyers who need a high-adhesion tape for rough or outdoor surfaces.

Gentle adhesive with 60-day removal

The gentle adhesive allows the tape to stay in place for up to 60 days and then removes cleanly without leaving sticky residue. Edge-Lock Technology seals out paint to deliver sharp paint lines on delicate projects. Normal use involves low mess and no surface damage on listed materials.

Edge-Lock Technology for sharp lines

The bundled Edge-Lock Technology seals out paint bleed to create crisp edges on accent walls, decorative stripes and patterns. This feature changes the outcome by reducing touch-up work on sensitive projects like murals or finished wood floors.

Questions about this item

How do I apply the ACE 203061 tape and what step do people often miss?

Clean the surface, wait at least 24 hours after painting, then press the tape down firmly to activate Edge-Lock Technology; the step people skip is waiting the full 24 hours before taping freshly painted walls.

When will the ACE 203061 tape need to be removed or replaced?

The gentle adhesive is designed to stay on surfaces for up to 60 days and then remove cleanly without residue, so plan to take it off within that window.

What is the first limitation I will hit if I leave the ACE 203061 tape on too long?

After 60 days the adhesive bond strengthens and the tape may no longer release cleanly, risking surface damage or leftover residue.
