Questions about this item

What limits the refresh rate when the monitor runs continuously at 1920 x 1080?

The 100Hz panel refresh rate is the native ceiling at this resolution; sustained use does not introduce a lower limit.

How much noise, heat or power draw should I expect during all-day operation?

The monitor has no fan, so it runs silently; typical IPS panels of this size draw modest power and stay warm rather than hot.

Which cable or port must my computer already provide to use this display?

Your system needs an HDMI 1.4 or DisplayPort 1.2 output to drive the 1920 x 1080 signal at up to 100Hz.
