Aspire 3 15 touchscreen laptop for business

The Acer Aspire 3 15 combines a 15.6-inch Full HD touchscreen with a Ryzen 5 7520U processor, 16GB DDR5 memory and a 512GB NVME SSD. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed. The silver chassis weighs 3.5lb and measures 14.15 IN by 9.25 IN by .90 IN. It targets professionals who need a responsive display for presentations and daily productivity.

Sustained performance with 4-core Ryzen 5 7520U

The processor runs at a 2.80GHz base frequency and can boost to 4.30GHz across its four cores and eight threads. Integrated Radeon graphics share system memory. The 45W power supply and 3-cell battery feed the platform during extended workloads. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 maintain wireless throughput without thermal throttling during long sessions.

16GB DDR5 and 512GB NVME decide fit

Memory and storage are soldered or configured at the factory, so the 16GB DDR5 capacity and 512GB NVME SSD size are fixed for the life of the device. Buyers who need more RAM or a larger drive cannot upgrade internally. The single HDMI 2.1 port, two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, one USB 2.0 port and a combo audio jack complete the I/O set.

Questions about this item

How loud and warm does the Ryzen 5 7520U get during all-day use with the 45W power supply?

The 45W adapter matches the processor's 15W base power, so the cooling system runs quietly under typical office loads; sustained heavy tasks will spin the fan higher but stay within the design envelope.

Which peripherals do I need to connect the single HDMI 2.1 and USB Type-C 3.2 ports?

An HDMI 2.1 cable for external displays and a USB-C 3.2 hub or adapter for additional USB-A devices, Ethernet or video outputs beyond the built-in ports.

Will my older USB 2.0 flash drives and 10/100 Ethernet cables work at full speed?

Yes — the laptop includes one USB 2.0 port and a 10/100/1000Mbps LAN jack, so legacy drives and cables operate at their rated speeds without adapters.
