15.6" IPS FHD Display

The Acer Aspire 5 A515 is a 15.6-inch notebook built around a 1920 x 1080 IPS panel and an Intel Core i3-1005G1 dual-core processor. It ships with 4GB of DDR4 memory and a 256GB NVMe SSD, running Windows 10 Pro in S Mode. A fingerprint reader and 720p webcam are included for secure sign-in and video calls.

Upgraded 256GB NVMe SSD

This unit replaces a standard hard-drive configuration with a 256GB NVMe solid-state drive for faster boot and application load times. The dual-core CPU reaches 3.4 GHz turbo frequency for everyday tasks, while the integrated Intel UHD Graphics handles basic visual output. The jump is worth it when moving from a mechanical drive or lower-resolution screen to this FHD IPS panel and NVMe storage combination.

Students and office users

The compact 15.6-inch form factor suits students and office users who need a reliable Windows 10 Pro device for document editing, web browsing and video conferencing. Buyers who want more storage or higher multi-core performance for demanding creative workloads should look at something else. Gamers or professionals requiring discrete graphics will not find that capability here.
