Acer Aspire Go 15 for business users

The Acer Aspire Go 15 is a 15.6 inch Full HD laptop built around an AMD Ryzen 7 7730U processor with 8 cores and 16 threads. It ships with 20GB of DDR4 memory and a 256GB NVME SSD running Windows 11 Home. The non-touch display offers 1920 x 1080 resolution in a silver chassis weighing 3.5lb.

Ports and connectivity for office setups

One USB Type-C 3.2 port, two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports and one USB 2.0 port handle peripherals while HDMI 2.1 drives an external monitor. Gigabit Ethernet via RJ45 and Wi-Fi 6 with Bluetooth 5.0 cover wired and wireless networks. A 720p webcam and combo audio jack support video calls without extra dongles.

Ready to use with limited upgrade room

The system arrives professionally upgraded and tested so Windows 11 Home is configured out of the box. Memory and storage are not user-accessible without disassembly, so buyers who want more RAM or a second drive should plan accordingly. The 45W power supply and 3-cell battery keep the thin 0.90 inch profile charged for mobile work.

Questions about this item

Is the 20GB DDR4 memory soldered or can I add a SO-DIMM later?

The 20GB DDR4 configuration uses soldered memory; there is no accessible SO-DIMM slot for future upgrades.

What thermal limit appears first when the Ryzen 7 7730U runs at 4.5GHz for long periods?

The 45W power supply and 3-cell battery limit sustained boost clocks before the cooling system reaches its maximum.

How loud does the fan get and what surface temperature should I expect after hours of use?

The fan stays quiet at idle but spins up noticeably under load; the chassis reaches warm but safe temperatures during all-day operation.
