What it is

The Acer Aspire Go 15 is a 15.6 inch Full HD business laptop powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 7730U processor with 16GB DDR4 memory and a 1TB NVME SSD. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and includes Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, HDMI and RJ45 ports in a silver chassis weighing 3.5lb.

Who it suits

This suits office users who need a 15.6 inch non-touch display, integrated AMD Radeon graphics and a 720p webcam for daily productivity and video calls. It is not for buyers who require a backlit keyboard, a touchscreen or discrete graphics for creative workloads.

Deciding specification

The single specification that decides fit is the 1TB NVME SSD paired with 16GB DDR4 memory, which determines whether the storage capacity and system responsiveness meet the buyer's workload requirements.

Questions about this item

Can the 16 GB DDR4 memory be expanded later if I need more?

The 16 GB DDR4 is soldered to the board and cannot be upgraded, so the capacity you buy is permanent.

What thermal limit appears first when the Ryzen 7 7730U runs at 4.50 GHz for long periods?

The 45 W power supply and 3-cell battery constrain sustained boost clocks before the cooling system reaches its limit.

How loud does the fan get and how hot does the chassis feel during an all-day workload?

Under continuous load the single fan spins up to an audible level and the silver chassis becomes warm to the touch, especially near the rear vent.
