Everyday laptop for work and study

The Acer Aspire Go is a 15.6-inch Windows 11 Home laptop powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 7730U 8-core processor with 16GB DDR4 memory and a 512GB NVMe SSD. It targets students and professionals who need a lightweight silver chassis for daily productivity, web browsing and video calls.

Display and connectivity limits

The 1920 x 1080 IPS panel runs at 60 Hz with 250 nits brightness and an anti-glare coating, which suits indoor office lighting but not colour-critical work or bright outdoor use. Wireless relies on Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1, while the single HDMI 2.1 port supports one external display.

Integrated graphics define the use case

The AMD Radeon integrated GPU handles desktop video playback and light creative tasks, but it cannot drive modern games or heavy 3D workloads. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance or a backlit keyboard should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 16GB DDR4 and 512GB NVMe configuration or is there another option?

This model ships with 16GB DDR4 memory and a 512GB NVMe solid-state drive as the single available configuration.

What does the 4.5 GHz boost clock mean for everyday workloads?

The Ryzen 7 7730U can reach 4.5 GHz on up to 8 cores and 16 threads, giving snappy response in office apps, web browsing and light creative tasks.

What does HDMI 2.1 actually support on this laptop?

The HDMI 2.1 port carries video and HDCP-protected content to an external display; bandwidth is limited by the integrated Radeon graphics rather than the port itself.
