  • Compact 3.8" depth fits small workspaces

Essential wired gaming mouse

The Acer America BDM02UF is a wired optical mouse built for basic gaming and everyday computing. Its 800 dpi sensor and three-button layout suit players who prefer a simple, plug-and-play pointer without extra software. The transparent black shell adds a distinctive look to a compact frame measuring 1.3 by 2.2 by 3.8 inches and weighing 1.83 ounces.

Fixed cable and scroll wheel

The 2.62 ft USB cable provides a direct connection with no battery to charge and no wireless latency. A traditional scroll wheel handles vertical navigation, while the two primary buttons plus the middle click cover standard gaming actions. No additional accessories or driver discs are included in the package.

Straightforward USB installation

Plug the USB connector into any compatible port and the mouse is recognised immediately on Windows Me through Windows 7. The short cable length may limit placement on larger desks or tower units positioned far from the user. The lightweight build can feel insubstantial for gamers who prefer a heavier, more anchored device.

Questions about this item

Will the optical sensor or the three buttons wear out first with heavy use?

The 800 dpi optical sensor has no moving parts, so the three mechanical buttons and the scroll wheel are the components most likely to need replacement after extended clicking.

What stops me from moving the cursor further during a long session?

The 2.62 ft cable length is the hard limit on how far you can move the mouse from the USB port before tension stops you.

Does the mouse get warm or draw noticeable power after hours of gaming?

The optical sensor and USB interface draw very little power, so the mouse stays cool and adds negligible load to the computer's USB port during all-day use.
