Rugged clamshell Chromebook for education

The Acer Chromebook 511 C737-C28P is an 11.6-inch rugged clamshell laptop built for classroom and mobile use. It runs ChromeOS on an Intel N150 processor with 8 GB of memory. The matte IPS ComfyView panel reduces glare during long sessions. This configuration targets students and frontline workers who need a durable, managed device.

64 GB flash storage and 8 GB memory headroom

The 64 GB flash module holds the operating system, core apps and a modest set of local files. Cloud-first workflows and streaming media stay comfortable within this capacity. Large offline media libraries or heavy Android app caches will fill the drive quickly. The 8 GB memory keeps multiple browser tabs and lightweight Linux containers responsive.

Wi-Fi 7 connectivity and HDMI output

Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) provides high-throughput wireless access for video lessons and cloud collaboration. A single HDMI port connects the Chromebook to external displays or projectors for presentations. The clamshell form factor omits touchscreen and tablet modes, focusing on traditional keyboard input. Battery life reaches 22 hours on a single charge.
