14-inch Chromebook Plus with Core Ultra 7

The Acer Chromebook Plus 714 is a 14-inch laptop built for Chrome OS productivity. It pairs an Intel Core Ultra 7 155U processor with 16 GB of DDR5 memory and a 256 GB SSD. The WUXGA IPS touchscreen reaches 400 nits brightness and covers 100% sRGB. It ships new with Chrome OS, Wi-Fi 7, Gigabit Ethernet and a 53 Wh battery rated for 21 hours.

Suited for cloud workers.

This device suits professionals and students who run web apps, Android apps and Linux containers in the browser. The 16 GB DDR5 6400 memory handles multitasking across many tabs. Buyers who need discrete graphics for 3D rendering, video export or high-end gaming should look elsewhere. The integrated Intel Graphics and fixed 256 GB storage also limit large local media libraries.

Core Ultra 7 155U with 4.80 GHz turbo decides fit

The single specification that decides fit is the Intel Core Ultra 7 155U reaching 4.80 GHz turbo. That clock speed drives responsive Chrome OS performance for office suites, video calls and code compilation in Linux. If your workflow demands sustained multi-core throughput beyond this U-series envelope, a different processor class is required.
