Acer Predator Cestus 327 Gaming Mouse

The Acer Predator Cestus 327 is a lightweight wired gaming mouse weighing 63g. It uses an ELAN OM36 optical sensor with a maximum sensitivity of 8000 DPI and 150 IPS tracking speed. A 1000Hz polling rate and six programmable buttons rated for 20 million clicks provide responsive input for competitive play. Customisable RGB lighting adds visual flair to the black chassis.

Right-handed players wanting versatile grip support

The contoured shell accommodates palm, claw and fingertip grips with textured side surfaces for control during long sessions. Five-level DPI switching via a dedicated button allows quick sensitivity changes mid-game. Left-handed users should look elsewhere, as the shape is designed exclusively for right-hand orientation. Buyers needing wireless freedom or more than six buttons will need a different model.

8000 DPI sensor with 150 IPS tracking headroom

The optical sensor handles fast swipes up to 150 IPS and 8000 DPI, covering high-sensitivity flick shots and low-sensitivity precision aiming. Onboard memory stores your preferred DPI steps indicated by five LED colours. The 1000Hz report rate keeps input latency low. Users requiring higher maximum DPI, adjustable weight tuning or additional programmable buttons will find the specifications fixed.

Questions about this item

Will this mouse plug straight into a USB port on my PC without an adapter?

Yes, the Cestus 327 uses a standard wired USB interface so it connects directly to any free USB port.

Can I keep using my existing mouse pad with the ELAN OM36 sensor?

The optical sensor works on most cloth and hard pads, so your current surface should be fine.

How do I verify the 1000Hz polling rate is active after I plug it in?

Use any polling-rate test utility; it will show 1000Hz if the mouse is communicating at full speed.
