Purpose-built carry

The Acer Predator GPBAG11080 is an 18-inch laptop backpack built for gamers and travellers who move a 17.3-inch or 18-inch notebook plus a 10.1-inch tablet. Three main compartments and a front pocket organise gear for tournaments or two-to-three-day trips. A TSA-friendly laptop sleeve and anti-theft pocket protect valuables during transit. Water-repellent polyester and reinforced corners shield hardware from rain and daily knocks.

Daily comfort

Padded back panels and an adjustable chest strap with an integrated whistle distribute the 1.95 kg load across the torso. The strap reduces shoulder pressure during long walks through airports or convention halls. Water-repellent exterior fabric keeps light moisture off the shell without adding bulk. A luggage pass-through strap lets the bag ride securely on a rolling suitcase handle.

Load flexibility

Hidden expansion adds 6 cm of depth, raising capacity to 30 litres for extra clothing or peripherals. An internal waterproof pocket isolates damp or used items from dry electronics. Reinforced corners maintain structure when the bag is fully packed. The 18.5 by 12.99 by 6.3 inch frame stays stable whether compressed or expanded.

Questions about this item

How do I fit an 18" laptop into the backpack and what step do people miss?

Open the standalone TSA-friendly compartment fully flat, slide the laptop in with the screen facing the back panel, then secure the internal strap; the step most people miss is leaving the strap loose, which lets the device shift.

What part of this backpack will wear out first and need replacement?

The water-repellent coating on the 100% polyester exterior degrades with repeated abrasion and washing; once water stops beading, reapply a fabric DWR spray or replace the bag if the corners fray.

How much gear can I actually carry before the backpack hits its limit on a long day?

The expandable 30 L capacity is the hard ceiling; packing beyond the 6 cm expansion zone strains the reinforced corners and chest-strap whistle buckle, making the load unstable.
