Dual Switch Design

The Acer Predator Aethon 700 is a wired RGB mechanical gaming keyboard built for players who want choice in every keystroke. It lets you toggle between tactile clicky switches and linear optical switches without changing hardware. Full N-key rollover and a 60 million keystroke rating ensure every command registers during intense sessions.

Volume Roller Control

A textured roller provides instant volume adjustment so you stay in the game without alt-tabbing or opening menus. Dedicated function keys handle media playback and shortcuts directly from the board. The wired USB connection delivers stable, latency-free input for competitive environments.

Per-Key RGB Lighting

Each key offers individual backlight customisation across 16.8 million colours with seven preset lighting modes available. The optical sensor tracks actuation precisely for consistent response whether you choose tactile or linear feel. Solid construction supports extended daily use.

Questions about this item

How long do the switches last before they start to miss presses?

The switches are rated for 60 million keystrokes and support full N-key rollover so every press registers even during extended sessions.

Does the keyboard get loud or hot when I game for hours?

Optical switches run cooler and quieter than traditional mechanical ones and the aluminium frame helps dissipate heat during long sessions.

What do I need to plug this keyboard into my PC?

A single USB-A port is all that is required; the keyboard draws power and communicates over that one cable.
