Nitro 16S 16-inch gaming laptop

The Acer Nitro 16S is a 16-inch gaming laptop built around an AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 processor with 10 cores and 20 threads. It pairs that CPU with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti laptop GPU carrying 12 GB of GDDR7 memory. A 2560 x 1600 WQXGA panel runs at 180 Hz for fast-paced play. The machine ships with Windows 11 Home, 64 GB of DDR5 4800 memory and a 2 TB PCIe SSD.

Sustained-load behaviour

The 10-core Zen 5 processor can boost up to 5 GHz with 24 MB of cache, while the RTX 5070 Ti delivers 12 GB of GDDR7 video memory for heavy graphics workloads. Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4 maintain connectivity during long sessions. The 16-inch chassis measuring 14.05 x 10.85 x 0.78 inches and weighing 4.81 lbs provides the thermal envelope for these components.

Installation and common issues

The laptop arrives with the factory seal opened by engineers for memory and storage upgrades, so the 64 GB DDR5 and 2 TB PCIe SSD are already installed and tested. Windows 11 Home is pre-configured. Buyers should verify that the upgraded components are recognised in the OS and that the 180 Hz display mode is active. The RGB keyboard and webcam require no extra setup.
