Questions about this item

Does the 5.1 GHz boost clock on the Ryzen 7 8845HS throttle under sustained load?

The processor reaches 5.1 GHz in short bursts. Under continuous all-core work the laptop's thermal design will lower clocks to stay within its power and temperature envelope.

How loud are the fans and what are the surface temperatures during an all-day session?

The dual-fan cooling system ramps up under heavy GPU and CPU load, producing audible airflow. Keyboard deck and underside become warm to the touch after extended gaming.

Which peripherals and cables are required to use the HDMI 2.1 and USB Type-C 3.2 ports?

An HDMI 2.1-certified cable and a monitor or TV with an HDMI 2.1 input are needed for full bandwidth. The USB Type-C 3.2 port accepts standard USB-C devices and DisplayPort alt-mode adapters.
