Acer Nitro 49" 32:9 Curved Gaming Monitor

The Acer Nitro EI491CUR J0 is a 49-inch curved LCD gaming monitor with a 32:9 aspect ratio. It delivers a 3 ms response time and 300 nit brightness. Connectivity includes two HDMI 2.0 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 port, a headphone jack and an audio line out. The package contains the monitor, a US power cord and a DisplayPort cable.

Suited for immersive single-screen gaming

The expansive 32:9 curve wraps the field of view for simulation, strategy and multi-window workflows without a centre bezel. Buyers who need higher pixel density for detailed creative work or a faster response time for competitive esports should consider other options. The fixed US power cord also means international users must verify local compatibility before purchase.

32:9 aspect ratio on a 49-inch panel

This ultra-wide format determines how much horizontal content fits on one screen and whether the curve matches the intended viewing distance. It is the single specification that decides if the monitor replaces a dual-panel setup or simply adds width without the vertical space some workflows require.

Questions about this item

Will my older GPU with HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4 drive the 49" 32:9 panel at its native resolution?

The monitor provides two HDMI 2.0 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4 port, so a GPU with those outputs can connect directly.

How can I confirm the 3 ms response time is active after I set up the display?

Open the on-screen display menu and verify the overdrive or response-time setting is set to the fastest option.

Does the box include an HDMI cable or do I need to buy one separately?

The package contains the monitor, a US power cord and a DisplayPort cable; an HDMI cable is not included.
