Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This laptop suits buyers who want a 15.6 inch 165Hz display, an 8-core i5-13420H CPU, and an RTX 5050 GPU in a 4.66 lb chassis. It also includes a Thunderbolt port, HDMI, RJ45 Ethernet, and three USB-A 3.2 ports. Buyers who need an SD card reader, a fingerprint reader, or a larger screen should consider other models.

The spec that decides fit

The defining specification is the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 8GB GDDR6 graphics card paired with the 15.6 inch 165Hz FHD IPS display. This combination sets the performance ceiling for gaming and creative workloads on this device. If the RTX 5050 meets your graphics target, the rest of the configuration supports it with 32GB memory and 1TB PCIe storage.

Questions about this item

Will the 15.6 inch chassis fit a 14.23 x 9.44 inch laptop sleeve?

The chassis measures 14.23 by 9.44 inches, so a sleeve sized for 15.6 inch laptops will accommodate it.

Which screw must be removed before lifting the bottom cover to install the 1TB PCIe SSD?

Remove all perimeter screws, then start prying at the front edge near the Thunderbolt port to avoid snagging the hidden clip.

DDR4 SO-DIMM contacts do not require periodic reseating; leave the modules installed unless a hardware fault appears.
