Nitro V 15 Gaming Laptop

The Acer Nitro V 15 is a 15.6 inch gaming laptop built around a 13th Gen Intel Core i5-13420H octa-core processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU with 6GB video memory. It ships with 16GB DDR5 memory and a 2TB PCIe SSD running Windows 11 Home. The 144Hz FHD IPS display targets competitive gaming and fast-paced content creation.

144Hz FHD Display and Port Limits

The 15.6 inch panel runs at 1920 x 1080 resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate, so motion clarity tops out at that frame rate. External monitors connect through one HDMI port and one Thunderbolt port, while three USB-A 3.2 ports and a Gigabit Ethernet jack handle peripherals and wired networking. Bluetooth 5.1 covers wireless accessories.

Upgrade Access and Common Issues

The chassis measures 14.26 x 9.44 x 0.93 inches and weighs 4.66 lbs; the factory seal is opened by engineers for memory or storage upgrades before shipment. Removing the bottom panel requires care with hidden clips and ribbon cables for the backlit keyboard and 720p webcam. Missing the supplied USB-C hub or driver reinstallation after a clean OS install are the most frequent setup problems.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 16 GB DDR5 and 2 TB PCIe SSD configuration?

The laptop ships with 16 GB DDR5 memory and a 2 TB PCIe SSD already installed, so no further selection is needed for capacity or memory type.

What does the 4.6 GHz turbo frequency deliver in daily use?

The Core i5-13420H can boost up to 4.6 GHz across its 8 cores, giving short bursts of extra speed for game loading, compile jobs or heavy multitasking before thermals settle.

What can the Thunderbolt port actually drive?

The single Thunderbolt port supports external displays, high-speed storage and dock connections, while the three USB-A 3.2 ports handle peripherals and the HDMI output drives a second screen.
