Built for high-refresh gaming

The Acer Nitro V 16S pairs an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 eight-core processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti laptop GPU carrying 12 GB of GDDR7 memory. A 16.0-inch WQXGA panel runs at 2560 x 1600 resolution and a 180 Hz refresh rate. Sixty-four gigabytes of DDR5 4800 memory and a 2 TB PCIe SSD come standard. Windows 11 Pro and an Office 2021 licence are pre-installed.

Connectivity and expansion

Three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports sit alongside a USB4 Type-C port with power delivery, an HDMI 2.1 output, a Gigabit Ethernet jack, a microSD slot and a headset jack. A Kensington lock slot and DC-in round out the physical interface. Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth handle wireless duties. The 14.05 x 10.85 x 0.83 inch chassis weighs 4.8 pounds and includes a backlit keyboard and webcam.

Sustained-load behaviour

The eight-core Ryzen AI 7 350 operates at a 2.0 GHz base and can boost to 5.0 GHz, feeding the RTX 5070 Ti during extended sessions. The 12 GB GDDR7 frame buffer and 64 GB DDR5 system memory keep texture streaming and multitasking steady. PCIe storage maintains throughput for level loads and asset caching. Questions about this item

At what clock speed does the Ryzen AI 7 350 settle during long workloads?

The processor runs at a base frequency of 2.0 GHz and can boost up to 5.0 GHz, so sustained speeds will sit between those two limits depending on cooling and power draw.

How loud or hot does the Nitro V 16S get when the RTX 5070 Ti and 8-core CPU run all day?

The 16-inch chassis measures 14.05 x 10.85 x 0.83 inches and weighs 4.8 pounds, giving enough internal volume for dual-fan cooling to manage heat and keep fan noise at a moderate level during extended sessions.

Which peripherals or accounts must I already have so the laptop works straight away?

Windows 11 Pro and the Office 2021 licence are pre-installed, so only a Microsoft account for activation and any external displays you want to drive via HDMI 2.1 or USB4 are required.
