What the Nitro V 16S delivers

The Acer Nitro V 16S is a 16 inch WQXGA gaming laptop built around an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 eight core processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti with 12 GB GDDR7 video memory. It ships with 32 GB DDR5 4800 memory and a 512 GB PCIe SSD running Windows 11 Home. The 180 Hz panel targets players who want high refresh rates in a portable chassis.

Installation and common issues

The laptop arrives with the factory seal opened by engineers for component upgrades and testing, so the original packaging will not be intact. Windows 11 Home and an Office 2021 licence are pre installed, leaving little first boot configuration. The only typical friction point is confirming that the upgraded RAM and SSD are recognised in BIOS after the engineering pass.

The spec that decides fit

The display runs at 2560 x 1600 resolution with a 180 Hz refresh rate, which is the single figure that determines whether the screen matches your competitive gaming or content workflow requirements.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 180Hz panel is actually running at 180Hz after setup?

Open Windows Settings, choose System then Display, select Advanced display and verify the refresh rate dropdown shows 180Hz for the built-in 16" WQXGA screen.

What ships in the box and what must I buy separately?

The box contains the laptop with 32GB DDR5 4800 memory and 512GB PCIe SSD already installed, a power adapter for the DC-in jack, and Windows 11 Home plus Office 2021 licence; no extra RAM, storage or optical drive is needed unless you want more capacity.

Which configuration should I choose for the RTX 5070 Ti 12GB GDDR7 model?

This listing is a single fixed specification — Ryzen AI 7 350 8-core processor, 32GB DDR5 4800, 512GB PCIe SSD, 16" 2560 x 1600 180Hz display — so there are no alternative versions or capacities to select.
