12.2" Touch Convertible Chromebook

This Acer Chromebook Spin 512 model NX.JHYAA.002 is a 2-in-1 laptop with a 12.2 inch touchscreen. It runs on an Intel N-Series N150 processor with 8 GB of memory and 64 GB of flash storage. The display offers a 1920 x 1200 WUXGA resolution at 60 Hz.

Students and Light-Office Users

The compact size and convertible form factor suit classroom or home tasks such as document editing, web browsing and video streaming. Buyers who need larger local storage, discrete graphics performance or legacy port arrays should consider other categories.

64 GB Flash Storage Decides Fit

The 64 GB flash memory capacity is the primary constraint for offline workloads. Users with large media libraries or heavy application installs will require cloud or external drives to supplement the internal space.

Questions about this item

How do I use the touchscreen for the first time?

The 12.2 inch WUXGA panel supports touch input out of the box; simply tap or swipe with a finger — no calibration utility is required.

Will the 64 GB flash storage need replacement?

The 64 GB flash memory is soldered to the board and not user-replaceable; manage space with cloud sync or a microSD card if the slot is present.

How long can the Intel N150 run at full speed before it slows down?

Sustained workloads will hit the processor thermal limit first; the fanless design throttles clocks once the chassis reaches its safe temperature ceiling.
