Swift X 14 AI Copilot+ laptop

The Acer Swift X 14 AI is a 14.5-inch Windows 11 Home laptop built around an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 Laptop GPU. It targets creators and developers who want on-device AI acceleration, a colour-accurate OLED touch display and dedicated graphics in a compact titanium-grey chassis. The system ships with 16 GB of onboard LPDDR5X memory and a 1 TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD.

Suited for local AI workloads

This laptop suits users who need NPU-accelerated Copilot+ features, hardware-accelerated ray tracing and a Calman-verified OLED panel with VESA True Black HDR 500 for editing. Buyers who require user-upgradeable memory, a larger screen or multiple external GPU enclosures should look elsewhere. The fixed 16 GB RAM and single M.2 slot limit expansion for memory-heavy pipelines.

8 GB GDDR7 RTX 5050 decides GPU headroom

The single specification that determines fit is the GeForce RTX 5050 Laptop GPU with 8 GB of GDDR7 video memory and a 70 W maximum graphics power. That VRAM capacity and power envelope set the ceiling for 3D rendering, local model inference and gaming at the native 2880 x 1800 resolution. If your workload demands more video memory or higher sustained GPU power, this configuration will not meet it.

Questions about this item

Does the Swift X 14 AI ship with the Acer Active Stylus, or must it be purchased separately?

The Acer Active Stylus is included in the box, so no separate purchase is needed for pen input on the 14.5" OLED touch display.

Should I pick the 16 GB LPDDR5X configuration or a higher-capacity option for the Ryzen AI 7 350?

Memory is soldered at 16 GB LPDDR5X with a maximum supported capacity of 16 GB, so no larger option exists for this model.

What does the 440 AI TOPS figure mean when I run creative workloads on the RTX 5050 laptop GPU?

The 440 AI TOPS rating reflects combined NPU and GPU throughput for on-device AI tasks such as DLSS 4 frame generation and accelerated creative apps.
