Gaming laptop with RTX 2070 Super

The Acer Predator Triton 500 PT515-52-73L3 is a 15.6-inch gaming laptop built around a 10th Gen Intel Core i7-10750H processor and an overclockable NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super GPU with Max-Q design. It targets gamers who want high frame rates on a thin, portable chassis. The system ships with Windows 10 Home pre-installed.

300Hz G-SYNC display and per-key RGB

The 1920 x 1080 IPS panel delivers a 300Hz refresh rate, 3ms overdrive response time, 300-nit brightness and 100% sRGB coverage with NVIDIA G-SYNC for tear-free visuals. Per-key RGB backlighting allows individual key customisation. Killer Double Shot Pro WiFi 6 and Killer E3100G LAN handle networking. A 4th Gen all-metal AeroBlade 3D fan anchors the three-fan cooling system.

Check M.2 slot and power needs

The laptop includes 16GB of DDR4 2933MHz memory and a 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD with two M.2 slots, one of which is open for storage expansion. Buyers planning to add a second drive should verify the exact form factor and keying supported. The thin .70-inch profile may limit upgrade headroom for thicker components. Ensure your workload matches the supplied 8GB GDDR6 VRAM and 5.0GHz max turbo frequency.

Questions about this item

How long does the AeroBlade 3D fan system last before it needs replacement?

The 4th Gen all-metal AeroBlade 3D fan is built into the cooling assembly and is not a user-serviceable part; it is designed to operate for the laptop's usable life.

Which thermal limit is reached first during extended gaming sessions?

The CPU can boost up to 5.0GHz, but sustained loads are managed by the Max-Q design and three-fan Vortex Flow cooling to balance performance and temperature.

What is the fan noise level when the laptop runs all day at 300Hz?

Max-Q design and the AeroBlade 3D fan aim to keep acoustics lower than conventional gaming laptops while maintaining 300Hz refresh-rate performance.
