The Acer Triton 500 SE-16 arrives with an 11th Gen Intel Core i7-11800H processor, 64GB DDR4 memory and a GeForce RTX 3070 8GB GDDR6 GPU. Twin 8TB PCIe NVMe SSDs deliver 16TB of storage. A 16.0" 2560x1600 165Hz display, Windows 10 Pro and an Atlas backpack complete the package.

Compatibility checklist

Verify that your workflow can use Windows 10 Pro and that any external monitors support the HDMI output. The system offers two USB 3.2 Type-C Gen2 ports, an SD reader and a combo audio jack for peripherals. Ethernet LAN and 802.11 a/b/n/ac/ax Wi-Fi with Bluetooth 5.2 handle wired and wireless networks.

Thermals and power

A 230W power supply feeds the laptop and charges the 4-cell 99 WHr battery. The chassis weighs 5.4lb and measures 10.3 IN wide. Under load the RTX 3070 and 8-core CPU share the cooling solution; fan noise rises with sustained gaming or rendering workloads.
