A 16.0 inch 165Hz gaming laptop with an Intel Core i7 11th Gen processor, RTX 3070 graphics, 32GB DDR4 memory and 8TB NVMe storage, bundled with a water-resistant Atlas backpack
The Acer Triton 500 SE-16 is a 16.0-inch gaming laptop built around an 11th Gen Intel Core i7-11800H processor with eight cores and a 4.6 GHz turbo frequency. It pairs that CPU with an NVIDIA RTX 3070 laptop GPU carrying 8GB of GDDR6 memory and 32GB of DDR4 system RAM. The 2560x1600 display runs at 165 Hz and covers a 16:10 aspect ratio. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and an Atlas backpack is included in the package.
Storage consists of two 4TB PCIe NVMe SSDs that combine to present 8TB of usable capacity. That volume comfortably holds large game libraries, video projects and virtual-machine images without constant juggling. The PCIe interface keeps sequential read and write speeds high, so level loads and asset streaming stay quick. Only sustained, multi-gigabyte write workloads that exceed the drives' SLC cache will see throughput taper toward native TLC rates.
A 230W power adapter feeds the system while a 4-cell 99 Whr battery handles mobile use. Under typical mixed loads the cooling solution keeps core temperatures in check and fan noise remains at a moderate level. Heavy GPU-bound sessions raise both temperature and acoustic output, but the chassis design dissipates heat without throttling the 3070. Battery life varies with screen brightness and workload; expect shorter runtime during gaming than during productivity tasks.
