Suited For Content Creators And Gamers

The 2560x1600 resolution display running at 165Hz serves creators who need colour space and gamers who want high refresh rates. The 32GB memory and 2TB SSD handle large project files and modern game libraries without upgrades. Users needing a touchscreen, an optical drive, or a chassis lighter than 5.4lb should consider alternatives.

165Hz Wide QXGA Display Decides Fit

The 16.0 inch panel delivers a 2560x1600 resolution at 165Hz in a 16:10 aspect ratio. This specification determines whether the laptop matches workflows requiring vertical space and motion clarity. If the panel specs align with the user's primary tasks, the supporting hardware is configured to drive it.

Questions about this item

Will the 4.6 GHz turbo on the i7-11800H hold under sustained load or does the 230 W adapter limit it?

The 230 W power supply feeds the i7-11800H and RTX 3070 together; under continuous heavy work the CPU will settle at its rated 45 W PL1 and clocks will drop below the 4.6 GHz turbo.

How loud and hot does the chassis get when the RTX 3070 runs all day?

The thin 16.0" frame uses a vapor-chamber cooler; fans spin up to audible levels and the keyboard deck reaches warm temperatures, but the 99 Wh battery and 230 W brick keep power delivery stable.

What must I already own to use the two USB 3.2 Type-C Gen2 ports at full speed?

You need USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) cables or peripherals; older USB 3.0 or 2.0 devices will work but run at their own lower rates.
