31.5" 1000R Curved Gaming Monitor

The Acer Nitro ED323QU P1bmiipx is a 31.5-inch VA panel with a 1000R curvature and a 2560 x 1440 resolution. It targets gamers who want a high-refresh experience on a deeply curved widescreen.

180Hz Refresh with FreeSync

AMD FreeSync synchronises the panel's variable refresh rate to compatible graphics cards, reducing tearing during play. The monitor reaches 180Hz over DisplayPort 1.4 and 144Hz over HDMI 2.0, while a 1ms VRB response time limits motion blur.

Suits Single-PC Setups Needing Tilt Only

The stand provides tilt adjustment but no height, swivel or pivot movement, so users who need ergonomic flexibility should look elsewhere. Built-in 2W speakers cover basic audio, but the single DisplayPort and two HDMI 2.0 ports limit multi-system connectivity.

Questions about this item

How long will the built-in 2 x 2W speakers last before they need replacement?

The monitor uses a VA panel rated for long-term operation; the integrated 2 x 2W speakers have no separate service interval and are covered by the same regulatory approvals as the display.

What limits 180 Hz refresh rate under sustained gaming sessions?

The 180 Hz refresh rate is only available over the DisplayPort 1.4 connection; HDMI 2.0 caps at 144 Hz, so the cable choice is the first limit you will hit.

How much heat and power does the 31.5" curved VA panel draw during all-day use?

Normal operation draws less than 48 Watts, dropping below 1 Watt in power-save mode, and the TUV/GS certification confirms the thermal design meets safety standards for continuous use.
