23.8" 180Hz IPS Gaming Monitor

The Acer VG240Y M3biip is a 23.8-inch Full HD IPS monitor built for fast-paced gaming. It delivers a 1920x1080 resolution with a 180Hz refresh rate and a response time rated down to 0.5ms. AMD FreeSync Premium synchronises the display with compatible graphics cards. HDR10 support and 99% sRGB coverage handle colour-critical work.

Competitive Players and Colour-Sensitive Users

This monitor suits competitive players who need high refresh rates at 1920x1080 and creators who value accurate sRGB reproduction. The 180Hz panel and low response time reduce motion blur in shooters and racing titles. Buyers who need higher pixel density for detailed productivity or larger screen real estate for multitasking should consider other options. The fixed Full HD resolution limits workspace scaling.

180Hz Refresh Rate with FreeSync Premium

The single specification that defines this model is the 180Hz refresh rate combined with AMD FreeSync Premium over DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI 2.0. This pairing determines whether the panel can match your graphics card's output without tearing. If your GPU cannot consistently push frame rates near this ceiling, a lower-refresh alternative may offer better value. The 0.5ms response claim supports the same high-motion use case.

Questions about this item

Will the 180 Hz refresh rate and AMD FreeSync Premium work with my older graphics card that only has HDMI 1.4?

The monitor provides two HDMI 2.0 ports and one DisplayPort 1.2. HDMI 1.4 sources are compatible but will be limited to their maximum supported refresh rate at 1920 x 1080.

How can I verify the 0.5 ms response time and 99% sRGB colour gamut are active after setup?

Use the on-screen display to confirm the overdrive setting is enabled for the fastest response. Colour coverage is a panel characteristic and does not require activation.

Which cables are included with the VG240Y M3biip and what must I purchase separately?

The supplied accessories are not detailed in the available information. Check the package contents list on the box or the manufacturer's website for the exact cables provided.
