Questions about this item

How much heat and fan noise should I expect from the Ryzen 7 7730U during long work sessions?

The 45 W power supply and 3-cell battery indicate a modest thermal envelope, so the Ryzen 7 7730U runs cool enough for all-day office use without loud fan spin-up.

Which cables or peripherals must I already own to connect external displays and wired networking?

You need an HDMI cable for the HDMI 2.1 port and an Ethernet patch lead for the RJ-45 jack; the laptop also provides one USB-C 3.2, one USB 3.2 and one USB 2.0 port for other devices.

Will my older USB-A flash drives and 100 Mbps switch work reliably with this notebook?

Yes, the USB 2.0 and USB 3.2 Type-A ports support legacy flash drives, and the Gigabit RJ-45 port negotiates down to 100 Mbps automatically.
