Aspire Go 15 for business users

The Acer Aspire Go 15 is a 15.6 inch Full HD laptop powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 7730U eight-core processor that reaches 4.50 GHz. It ships with 16 GB DDR4 memory, a 256 GB NVME SSD and Windows 11 Pro. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, HDMI 2.1, RJ-45 Ethernet and USB Type-C 3.2.

Suits office workers needing wired LAN

This configuration suits professionals who rely on a stable gigabit Ethernet link and a full-size HDMI 2.1 output for external displays. Buyers who want a backlit keyboard, a touchscreen or a larger storage drive should look at other models. The non-backlit keyboard and 720p webcam also limit appeal for frequent low-light typing or high-quality video calls.

Ports and OS shape daily workflow

The single USB Type-C 3.2 port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and one USB 2.0 port handle legacy and modern peripherals without adapters. Windows 11 Pro enables domain join, BitLocker and remote desktop features that home editions lack. A 45 W power supply and three-cell battery keep the 3.5 lb chassis running through typical office days.

Questions about this item

Does this laptop need any extra parts or cables to run Windows 11 Pro out of the box?

No. The unit ships with a 45 W power supply, Windows 11 Pro pre-installed and a 256 GB NVME SSD already fitted, so nothing else is required to start working.

Will my older USB 2.0 flash drives and RJ-45 network cable still work with the ports on this machine?

Yes. The laptop provides one USB 2.0 port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and a Gigabit RJ-45 jack, so legacy flash drives and wired networks connect directly.

How can I confirm the Ryzen 7 7730U is running at its full 4.5 GHz boost after I set the laptop up?

Open Task Manager, select the Performance tab and watch the CPU clock speed while running a heavy load; it should show speeds up to 4.5 GHz when thermal headroom allows.
