15.6-inch FHD business laptop

The Acer Aspire Go 15 is a 15.6-inch Full HD business laptop powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 7730U eight-core processor that reaches 4.5 GHz. It ships with 24 GB of DDR4 memory and a 256 GB NVME SSD. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed and the chassis is finished in silver.

Thermals noise and power

A 45 W power supply feeds the system and its integrated AMD Radeon graphics. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless links, plus a gigabit RJ-45 port for wired networking. The internal speakers and 720p webcam handle everyday conferencing.

Upgrade path and fit

This configuration suits buyers who want a new Windows 11 machine with generous memory for multitasking and a fast NVME boot drive. It is not for buyers who need a larger SSD at purchase, a backlit keyboard, a touchscreen display or additional USB-C video outputs.

Questions about this item

How do I add more storage to the 256GB NVME SSD, and which screw do people forget?

Remove the base screws, lift the panel, insert an M.2 2280 NVME drive into the open slot at a 30-degree angle, then secure it with the tiny silver standoff screw that often falls into the chassis.

Which component will need replacement first during the laptop's life?

The 45W 3-cell battery will degrade after several hundred charge cycles, reducing runtime well before the soldered 24GB DDR4 memory or the AMD Radeon graphics show any wear.

What thermal limit appears first when the Ryzen 7 7730U runs at 4.5GHz for long periods?

The 45W power adapter cannot sustain peak turbo indefinitely, so the processor throttles to its base 2.0GHz once the cooling system saturates.
