Acer Aspire Go 15 Laptop

The Acer Aspire Go 15 is a new 15.6 inch laptop built around an AMD Ryzen 7 5825U processor with 16GB of DDR4 memory and a 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD. It runs Windows 11 Home on a 1920 x 1080 IPS display with a 60Hz refresh rate. Integrated AMD Radeon graphics handle visual output.

Suitability and Limits

This suits buyers who want a 15.6 inch Windows 11 laptop with 16GB DDR4 memory and integrated graphics for everyday tasks. It is not for buyers who need a dedicated graphics card, a touchscreen, a higher refresh rate display, or user-upgradeable memory beyond the installed 16GB.

Deciding Specification

The integrated AMD Radeon graphics share system memory and define the graphical ceiling for this device. Buyers needing discrete GPU performance for gaming or GPU-accelerated workloads should look elsewhere. The 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD and 16GB DDR4 are fixed configuration points.

Questions about this item

Will the USB 3.2 Type-C port drive an older monitor that only has HDMI?

The laptop has an HDMI port, so you can connect the older monitor directly with an HDMI cable; the USB 3.2 Type-C port does not carry video on this model.

How can I confirm the Ryzen 7 5825U is running at its 4.5 GHz turbo after I set it up?

Open Task Manager, go to the Performance tab, select CPU and watch the speed readout while a heavy load runs; it should climb toward 4.5 GHz when thermals allow.

Does the box include the 65 W power adapter and the Dockztorm wireless mouse shown in the listing?

Yes, the 65 W PSU and the Dockztorm wireless mouse are both included; no extra purchase is needed for either.
