Everyday 15.6" laptop for multitasking

The Acer Aspire Go 15 pairs an AMD Ryzen 7 5825U processor with 64GB DDR4 memory and a 4TB PCIe NVMe SSD. It ships with Windows 11 Home on a 15.6" IPS FHD display running at 60Hz. The integrated AMD Radeon graphics share system memory.

Sustained load with integrated graphics

The 8-core Zen 3 CPU reaches 4.5 GHz turbo while the 53 Whr battery and 65W power supply support long sessions. WiFi 6 MT7921 and Bluetooth 5.3 maintain connectivity. Thermal design relies on the shared Radeon graphics without a discrete GPU.

64GB DDR4 decides upgrade path

Memory is soldered SODIMM DDR4 and cannot be changed after purchase. Buyers who need more than 64GB or a different memory generation must choose another model. The 4TB NVMe drive can be replaced if additional storage is required.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the Ryzen 7 5825U get during all-day workloads with the 65 W adapter and 53 Whr battery?

The 65 W power supply and 53 Whr battery support the 8-core processor running up to 4.5 GHz; actual fan noise and surface temperature depend on the workload you run.

Which peripherals and cables must I already own to use the HDMI, USB 3.2 Type-C and RJ-45 ports on this laptop?

You need an HDMI display cable, a USB 3.2 Type-C device or hub, and an Ethernet patch cord for the RJ-45 jack; the included wireless mouse uses its own receiver.

Will the integrated Radeon graphics and DDR4 memory work smoothly with my older 1080p external monitor and USB 3.0 drives?

The HDMI output drives a 1920 x 1080 60 Hz display, and the USB 3.2 Type-C port is backward compatible with USB 3.0 peripherals.
