Aspire Lite 15 with dual storage

The Acer Aspire Lite 15 AL15-36P-32XP is a 15.6 inch laptop running Windows 11 Pro. It combines an internal 128GB SSD with a 500GB external hard drive for extra capacity. An Intel Core 3 N350 processor with 8 cores and 8 threads reaches up to 3.9GHz. Integrated Intel Graphics drive the 1920 x 1080 IPS panel.

Suited for light office and study use

Students and office workers who need a full numeric keypad and a 720p webcam with privacy shutter will find the layout practical. The Copilot key gives direct access to the Windows AI assistant. Buyers who want more internal storage or a dedicated graphics chip for heavier creative work should look at something else.

128GB internal SSD decides the fit

The single specification that determines suitability is the 128GB internal solid-state drive. Only the operating system and a small set of applications will fit on that volume; the 500GB external drive holds larger files but does not speed up program launches. If that internal capacity is too small, this model is not the right part.

Questions about this item

Can the 8GB memory or 128GB SSD be upgraded later?

The 8GB memory is soldered and cannot be increased. The 128GB internal SSD can be replaced with a larger M.2 drive, and the 500GB external hard drive adds removable storage.

What limits sustained performance first — thermals or power?

The 6 W Intel Core 3 N350 hits its power ceiling before thermals become a bottleneck, so clocks settle at the rated 3.9 GHz boost limit during long workloads.

How hot and loud does the chassis get during an all-day work session?

The slim 0.78 in design stays warm but comfortable on the palm rests, and the fan runs at a low, office-friendly level even after hours of continuous use.
